Strategy and Goal Alignment Meeting Preparation
The purpose of the Strategy and Alignment is to ultimately align your personal goals with business goals, with all parties, and lay out a 6 month plan of strategies to achieve your initial goals.
Most people are not that clear on their goals nor the steps to take to achieve them. This is a massive challenge for everyone however, with our process, you will become immeasurably better at setting and achieving goals. Being an expert at strategy and alignment is not expected at first, but every step is progress to achieving a lot more.
The Strategy and Alignment Meeting is usually done in the first month of coaching although can be done at anytime. It takes between 2 and 4 hours depending on the complexity of your situation. Your Strategy and Alignment should be reviewed at least every 12 months.

Below outlines the prework and documents required, what we will do on the day, and the outcome.

Prework:
- Fill out and return Coaching Agreement if not already done.
- Fill out and return Kick Start document.
- Fill out your Wish List the best you can.
- Fill out and return Business Goal sheet.
On the day:
- Walk around and overview of your office or workshop.
- Review WISH List.
- Initial set up of your Personal Wealth System – aka “Wealth Tracker”.
- Initial Valuation of Business – using “BizVal Tool”.
- Set Personal Goals.
- Review your 6 month, 1y, 3/5y Business Goals sheet and fine tune.
- Discuss business opportunities & challenges and decide appropriate strategies
- Map out 6 month Action Plan of agreed strategies.
Following days
- Hugh to write up report and discuss proposed Action Plan.
